We are ready to make your Easter morning and weekend as easy as possible, leaving more time to spending with your family and out of the kitchen! Don’t you really dream more of hanging out with your family, go on egg hunts with the kiddos and take lots of photos to remember the day? I do! Fortunately, most of these recipes are excellent meal prepped options that require less time in the kitchen and give you more time with your family.
Blueberry Lemon Muffins
These Blueberry Lemon Muffins are so moist and delicious! These are the ones that almost look too good to eat! If you want to splurge, check out the muffin liners. They take the presentation to the next level! I wouldn’t use the liners on an everyday muffin but they are worth the cost for holidays, showers and birthdays.
Baked Eggs and Ham in Muffin Tin
Baked Eggs in Muffin Tins with Ham can be made the weekend before so they are one of the best meal prep options on the list as they freeze with no problem! Add toppings if you like or leave them plain. Serve with a dish of freshly cut up fruit that you prepared the night before. Sit down and enjoy Easter morning with the family!
Sausage Breakfast Casserole
This is a classic! Have you tried it? It is a huge hit at the holidays! There is plenty to go around since it is made in a 9×13 dish. Fresh fruit goes great with this. Strawberries, sliced cantaloupe, and blueberries are perfect! A glass of orange juice and a big cup of coffee and you won’t need to eat until dinner time! That alone sells me!
Don’t you love danishes! These are easy to make ahead and can be stored for a couple of days with no issues at all leaving you free to enjoy an early Easter morning with zero stress. If nothing else, this will get everyone through an egg hunt until lunch is ready!
Crockpot Caramel Latte
Have you ever thought of making a latte in the crockpot? If you aren’t a huge fan of the caramel, do without and just serve it up plain. It is just delish and makes that holiday morning a little bit more special.
Bacon, Egg and Cheese Casserole
If you love the sausage breakfast casserole but looking for something a tad different this year, this one might work for you! I have to admit, the name makes me feel like a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich at McDonald’s but that was not the goal here! No, no, no!!! Rest assured, the crowd will devour it and you will be happy it makes so much! Just like the sausage breakfast casserole, it will hold everyone until dinner.
Easy Blueberry Muffins
These easy blueberry muffins are perfect to make a day or two before Easter. They are your classic blueberry muffins without all the extras that we find in a lot of recipes lately. Kids love them! Sometimes, the classics need to come back to the forefront! Serve these with granola, yogurt and fruit. Healthy and simple wins!
Oven Baked Eggs
If you need to make a dish ahead of time, feed a crowd and keep them full for hours, these are it! Since they are made ahead, you can simply warm them up and everyone can make their own egg sandwich before heading out the door. You can have different types of bread, croissants, cheeses ready to go and your family can assemble themselves. Check out how fast they are to make! If you want to splurge and serve up a beautiful bowl of cut up fruit, it would be gorgeous!
Raspberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes
Ahhhh, the pride and joy right here! Although you will be in the kitchen in the morning, the payoff is huge! These pancakes are show stoppers and have a taste to match!
**Last minute addition that we didn’t think would be added in time is the blueberry puff pastry! I love these! They are not just gorgeous to look at but amazing flavor. Super simple to throw together Easter morning so don’t be put off by thinking “I’m spending all day in the kitchen!” Nope! These will take about 15 minutes total but you might want to throw some flour on your face before you walk out to present like the cookie commercial years ago……does anyone remember that one? I adored that commercial.
