You are going to love how quickly these overnight oats come together. Let’s take a peek at the main ingredients.
Old Fashioned Oats – They are the perfect texture in the morning when you bite into them. In addition to tasting great, you will be getting antioxidants, fiber, protein, and other vitamins and minerals.
Almond Milk – Using almond milk is a great alternative to dairy milk. You can exchange it for any other milk substitute you like, such as cashew or oat milk. Or you can even use regular milk if you like that better.
Raspberries – They provide you with several things, flavor, sweetness, and color. Swap them for other berries or use a combination to make them suitable for your flavor preferences.
Just like our other overnight oats recipes, these too are sooo easy.
Step One: Mix the old fashioned oats, milk, yogurt in a bowl. I added chia seeds to this recipe because they are packed full of great nutrients.
Step Two: Layer (2) one pint jars with half of the overnight oats mixture, a teaspoon of Nutella and a few raspberries. Add the remaining overnight oats mixture and top it off with another teaspoon of Nutella and a few more raspberries.
PRO TIP: Please feel free to scale the amount of Nutella to cut down on calories. A little goes a long way. My husband is a bit of a Nutella lover and would love to have half of the jar. Doing the many versions of the calorie counter, bringing the Nutella up to 2 tbsp per jar brings the entire jar over 600 calories!!! I think he is happy with the teaspoon version, how about you?
I always like to make sure there are lots of options for readers in our recipes.
- Replace the raspberries with nuts or another fruit, like strawberries or kiwi
- Add a teaspoon of vanilla to the oats mixture for some extra flavor
- Layer the Nutella with sliced bananas

🍓 Fruit Options to Mix In
The options to mix in other fruits are endless! We love the raspberries but another popular choice are bananas and strawberries.
🍴Are Overnight Oats Suppose to Be Runny
That is really up to each person! I love recipes that give me that option. In this recipe, you can see the milk on the bottom of ours but if you look at others of our recipes, you can’t see any at all and it is thick and gooey. Both are right and both work for us but you can make it to your personal preference.
The milk will seem runny at the beginning but once you allow it to soak up overnight, it really comes together.
🥘 How Long Can I Store in Refrigerator
You can store overnight oats up to 4-5 days. I tend to make mine on Sundays and we eat them Monday-Thursday.
