Pepper Steak Stir Fry Recipe

Easy weeknight meal for 2! Makes up in no time!

  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 yellow pepper red is great too
  • 8 oz steaks
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar


  • Thinly slice peppers and onion. 
  • Slice steak into ½ inch slices. 
  • Place all ingredients into a bowl and add garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and salt and pepper. Mix well. 
  • Cover bowl and set in refrigerator for about 3 hours.  
  • Place oil/butter/cooking spray in pan and turn onto medium high heat. 
  • Drain liquid from bowl and toss ingredients into pan. 
  • Stir frequently and cook for 10-15 minutes or until meat reaches a temperature of 165 degrees. Serve over rice or pasta or on it's own.
