Strawberry Mango Freezer Jam

Super Easy Freezer Jam using fresh, ripe mangoes and strawberries. This jam is perfect over toast, bagels, muffins or in an overnight oats recipe. Everyone can make jam using this recipe!

  • 2/3 cup Sugar Granulated White
  • 1 cup Mango fresh
  • 2/3 cups Strawberries fresh
  • 2 tbps Freezer Pectin


  • Chop Mango and Strawberries and meaure accurately.

  • Combine with sugar and pectin and mash using a potato masher. Continually stir and mash for three minutes.

  • Pour into jars or containers and allow to sit on counter for 30-60 minutes to solidify. Freeze for up to 3 months. Alternatively, store in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks

Cut/chop the fruit into small pieces before you measure. 
Make sure to use the full two tablespoons of freezer pectin. If you skimp, the jam may not solidify. 
Make sure to stir for the full three minutes. 
 I made freezer jam for years, but when I went to write about it I decided to test out a few different techniques for the blog. I tested it when I mashed more than stirred, the jam didn’t harden properly!
For this recipe, lemon juice is not needed. 
You will see the jam start to solidify in 20 minutes or so. It needs 30-60 minutes to fully set.
