Super Easy Sweet Asian Air Fryer Chicken Wings will be your new family favorite. A little sweet, a little spicy brings the perfect combination to eat bite. Cooking wings in the air fryer is a game changer!
Lay the wings out on waxed paper, and sprinkle them with garlic salt and seasoned salt.
In a medium dish, add the milk and egg, and beat together until well blended. In another medium dish, add the flour, corn starch, corn meal, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Mix until well blended.
Dip the wings in the milk/egg dish, and then roll in the flour dish until they are well coated.
Place the coated wings in the air fryer, and spray with the spray olive oil.
Air Fry the Chicken Wings
Set the Air Fryer temperature to 375, and set the time to 12 minutes. When the air fryer is done, turn the wings over and spray the other side lightly with the spray olive oil. Cook for 12 more minutes.
When the wings are done cooking, pour half of the Sweet Chili Sauce into a large bowl, and place the wings in the chili sauce, tossing and coating them. Remove the wings from the sauce with tongs, and place on a platter, or plates, and serve immediately. Top with sesame seeds sprinkled on top of wings, and green onions. Enjoy!
Sweet Asian Chili Sauce: If you haven't eaten Sweet Asian Chili Sauce, it is a little sweet, and it is hot. You can typically find it in any grocery store, in the Asian section. No Coating Option: We have just made these again but just by using plain chicken wings and they were equally wonderful! I lost all the coating but didn't necessarily miss it! So if you are out of milk or don't want to coat these, feel free to try them without! You will not be disappointed at all! Calorie Content: The calorie content on this one seems high because you are using the entire bottle of Sweet Asian Chili Sauce. When I cooked these again, I only used ⅓ of the bottle and was equally happy! This is a great way to cut down those calories without sacrificing the taste! Using Frozen Wings: The Air Fryer is awesome at defrosting them. Simply cook the wings at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes and then continue cooking them as the directions state.
