Cut broccoli into florets and put it in a bowl. Spray with Olive Oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Mix with hands to get it fully combined. Add garlic (optional) and mix again.
Lay out in Air Fryer - either in basket or tray - with space in between the broccoli. Don't lay them too close together, or the air flow will be impeded.
Cook at 390 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Light green al dente was 6 minutes for me. 7 minutes was more toasted/roasted broccoli.

Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese (a favorite way to dress up roasted veggies for us) after you remove them from the Air Fryer. Use other seasonings as you like as well in place of the salt and pepper. Use the jarred minced garlic when in a pinch. Get creative with seasonings to adjust the flavor of your broccoli. Spice blends, Everything bagel seasoning, all are great options. Frozen broccoli works in a pinch. Just thaw the broccoli first, and then cook as directed. Make sure to not use a cooking spray in your air fryer. It can eat away the coating and rust your tray or basket. Use an oil mister or brush on oil. All air fryers heat slightly differently so adjust the cooking time as needed. Try to cut all your broccoli in similar sizes so they can all cook up about the same time.
