Does it sometimes feel like the world is always telling you to be busy? You’re not alone! Sometimes, the most productive thing we can do is be completely unproductive. I made these free printable zendoodle coloring pages for teens and adults for those exact moments when you just need to take a breather and make something pretty.

I recently got back into coloring, and it’s just as relaxing as I remember from childhood, though my color choices and my patience are much improved!
My drawing skills are stuck at stick-figure level, so I appreciate that coloring gives me ready-made gorgeous illustrations I get to play with. Whether you’re a teen or a grown-up, if you’re looking for a creative outlet that’s all fun and no pressure, you’ll love these zendoodle coloring sheets.
Having a hobby just for fun, with no goal other than relaxing, is incredibly important for our well-being. And yes, coloring isn’t just for little kids – it’s for teens and adults too.

🖍️ 10 Free Zendoodle Coloring Sheets
When I first heard the term ‘Zendoodle,’ I thought it sounded like a new kind of yoga pose! It’s actually just a fun name for the art of drawing and coloring structured doodle compositions. And yes, the ‘zen’ part is also real!
There are 10 coloring pages included in this set, and all of them are borderless compositions. This means the designs are not cut by an outer border and they look a lot more like wall art.
All of them print on regular U.S. Letter paper and are ready to color as soon as the ink dries. Fair warning: you might redecorate your home after coloring these!

💡 Tips For Mindful Coloring
I mentioned the ‘zen’ in Zendoodle is real, and it truly is! Coloring those intricate shapes is very satisfying and as unbelievable as this might sound, you can make it an even better experience.
👉Let Go of Perfection – This was the biggest one for me! I constantly had to remind myself that I’m not a professional artist and I’m not subjected to any pressure. So let yourself choose wild colors, go outside the lines, or color just a tiny section if that’s all you feel like doing.
There is no right or wrong way to color!
👉Focus on the Sensation – What makes coloring a satisfying activity? It’s more than achieving a gorgeous result. Pay attention to the physical sensations as you color. Notice how the pencil feels in your hand, and the sound it makes against the paper.
It’s a really effective way to quiet a busy mind without feeling like you’re making an effort.
👉Plan Your Palette – Before you even start, try picking out a color palette. Gather a handful of markers, pencils, and other coloring tools in colors you think will look good together and set them aside. This is a great habit if you want to create several color-coordinated pages to use as wall art, and it makes the actual coloring process more relaxing because some decisions are already made!
👉Think Outside the Crayon Box – This is where you can really let your creativity run wild! While colored pencils and crayons are classics, I couldn’t help myself and started to experiment with different art supplies. Mixing things up like this can completely change the look and feel of a page.
- Add Some Shimmer and Shine – Metallic markers and glitter gel pens are great for making your art pop. Another fun way to make your coloring sheets sparkle is to apply a thin layer of craft glue to a section and sprinkle on some fine glitter.
- Try a Painterly Look – If you prefer a softer, more artistic style, try using watercolors. A simple watercolor pan set is great, but since I discovered watercolor brush pens, I can’t even think of regular brushes. Brush pens are even easier to control and less messy. Just be sure to print your coloring pages on a thicker paper, like cardstock, so it can handle the water without wrinkling.
- Bring Back the Missed Details – One of my favorite tools is a simple white gel pen. It’s great for adding little highlights, dots, and details back on top of areas you’ve already colored.
