📜 What Verses Are Included?
I put a lot of thought into choosing some of my favorite verses that tell the beautiful story of the Nativity. This set includes 12 cards, all from the classic King James Version, that are perfect for reading with your family as you count down to Christmas. Here are all the scriptures you’ll find in this printable set:
🔸”For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6
🔸”Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14
🔸”And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.” – Matthew 1:21
🔸”And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” – Luke 2:6-7
🔸”And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” – Luke 2:8
🔸”And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” – Luke 2:9-10
🔸”And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” – Luke 2:13-14
🔸”And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.” – Luke 2:15
🔸”Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” – Matthew 2:1-2
🔸”When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.” – Matthew 2:9-10
🔸”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
✝️ How To Use These Cards

👉If you have older kids, use these as Bible memorization cards. Sit down and work on memorizing one scripture at a time.
This is a wonderful way to help build on the foundation of having God in their lives, to help them manage emotions, lean to God when they need guidance, and walk in faith in their everyday life.
The Bible is full of all the tools we need to help us through any and every event we face in any phase of our lives!
👉Create a simple Advent countdown. This is probably my favorite way to use these cards and has become a sweet tradition in our home.
Since there are 12 cards, they make a perfect countdown for the 12 days leading up to Christmas. You can read one card together as a family each evening after dinner or in the morning at breakfast to start the day with a focus on the Nativity story.
👉Decorate your home with Scripture. I just love finding ways to fill our home with reminders of the reason for the season. These cards are so pretty, they make wonderful decorations! Here are a few ideas:
- Use a hole punch to make a small hole in the corner of each card, thread a pretty ribbon through, and hang them as ornaments on your Christmas tree.
- Tuck the cards into the branches of a garland on your mantel or staircase.
- Display a new card each day on a small stand or in a cardholder on your entryway table.
👉Use them as special gift tags. Add a truly meaningful touch to your Christmas gifts this year by using these cards as gift tags.
Just write your “To” and “From” on the back of the card and attach it to your present with some festive ribbon or twine. It’s a beautiful way to share a piece of the Christmas story with the gifts you give.

Also, if you don’t own a printer, stores like Staples will print them out for you. You pay a small fee, but it allows you to get the printables without having to pay for a home printer or cartridges.
✅Print. ‘Make sure your printer is set to “Actual Size” or 100% scale and use color ink for the pretty red borders.
Cut & laminate. Once printed, carefully cut out each card. For extra durability so you can use them year after year, I highly recommend laminating them!
