Our dog loves cooling down with these homemade frozen dog treats and they couldn’t be easier to make! You only need two ingredients – apples and chicken broth.
This recipe makes a ton – about 25 frozen dog treats – more if you use an ice cube tray! I put them in lidded jello shot containers, but you can easily freeze them in ice cube trays and just transfer them to a freezer bag later.
We buy a 2 lb package of sliced apples at Sam’s Club and we had already used some up, so I don’t have an exact measurement on the apples, but 1 to ½ lbs is my best guess.
