Check out this 2 Ingredient Homemade Frozen Dog Treats Recipe
Say hello to our beautiful new pup Rosie! She’s a four month old lab/spaniel mix that’s a bundle of energy! We adopted Rosie a couple months ago, through Cabarrus Pets Society Dog Rescue just outside of Charlotte. We had a great experience, so definitely check them out if you’re in the Charlotte area!
I didn’t want to overload you guys that follow me on Instagram for the food posts with endless puppy pics, so naturally I…
*hangs head in shame*
… set up an Instagram page for my dog.
Go follow Rosie if you want to see her fluffiness on the regular.
Back to the dog treats… Rosie loves cooling down with these homemade frozen dog treats and they couldn’t be easier to make! You only need two ingredients – apples and chicken broth.
This recipe makes a ton – about 25 frozen dog treats – more if you use an ice cube tray! I put them in lidded jello shot containers, but you can easily freeze them in ice cube trays and just transfer them to a freezer bag later.
We buy a 2 lb package of sliced apples at Sam’s Club and we had already used some up, so I don’t have an exact measurement on the apples, but 1 to ½ lbs is my best guess.
