No Bake Desserts for the Holiday are the perfect match for busy families during the holidays! These recipes are perfect for last minute invites or when time is crunched but you still want to bring a homemade dessert! Most of these desserts are done in under 30 MINUTES!
The holidays will be here before we know it! When the weather begins to get chilly, I immediately am drawn to the idea of whipping up some sweet treats. I don’t want to necessarily spend all day in the kitchen with the oven on, so these No Bake desserts for the holidays are ideal. When making No Bake Holiday Desserts, you don’t have to worry about heating up the house or using up all your oven space.
Decorating Your No Bake Desserts
Each recipe will have its own list of instructions, but I wanted to give you some tips for decorating. Before you get busy in the kitchen, consider these tips:
- Understand that baking chocolate and chocolate chips do not melt and set up the same. So if you are making something and dipping it into chocolate, be sure to follow the recipe. Chocolate chips tend to set up much softer than baking chocolates. My all time favorite is the Candy Quik at Walmart as it melts beautifully and hardens perfectly without discoloring!
- Think outside the box. You can go wild and add all sorts of flair to your no-bake desserts. The recipes are intended to be a guide, but you can add your own style when it comes to decorating.
- Gather supplies like sprinkles and candies that match your theme. There are endless possibilities when it comes to adding character to your treats. The more red, white, and green you use, the more festive they will be. Silver, gold, and blue are also lovely colors for the holidays too.
Get some cute packaging for treats. If you are planning to give the treats out to friends, family, neighbors, daycare workers, or anyone else, it’s nice to have cute packaging. You can find cheap boxes or bags that are ideal for the holidays. Add some ribbon and an adorable tag, and you’ll be all set. Check at Walmart, Michaels (using the coupon, of course), and places like TJMaxx and Homegoods.
