👻 How Do You “Boo” Someone?
Booing is a relatively new Halloween tradition that has families anonymously leave gifts for friends and neighbors. It’s usually done starting late September and ends on the night of Halloween.
It can occur in neighborhoods but also in offices, schools, and nursing homes.
The gift should have a note attached saying “You’ve Been Booed” and the receiving family should hang a sign at their window to let everyone else know they’ve already been booed.
Within the next few days, they should prepare two gift baskets or treat bags, make copies of the printables to add them to the gift, and boo two more people or families.
There are other names for this tradition such as ghosting, spooking, hobgobling, and “the phantom”.
