This free vegetarian meal plan includes five days of dinners. Everything’s planned out for you and it includes a printable grocery list and full recipes! It can also easily be made vegan by swapping a few ingredients.Vegetarian Meal Plan
I’m so excited to share this vegetarian meal plan with you guys! If you’re in a rush, scroll all the way to the bottom for instructions on getting your meal plan. But first, I wanted to answer some questions that you may have, so for the gist of the details on this meal plan, read below!
First up … the basics.
This free vegetarian meal plan includes five dinners. It’s formatted as a PDF and includes full recipes for each dinner, calories for each meal, and a grocery list.
It’s printable so you can just print up a copy, keep the meal plan page on the fridge (I’ve included a picture of it below) for reference each day. And take the shopping list to the store for quick grocery shopping. Super easy! Everything has been done for you aside from the actual cooking.
How Many People does this Vegetarian Meal Plan Feed?
This meal plan feeds four people. There are three dinners that have leftovers of two servings.
If you have a family, the adults can take those extra portions to work the next day for lunch so it can cut down on the rest of your groceries. Or, you can save some of them for a leftovers night so you can get an extra day out of the meal plan.
What are the Meals on the Meal Plan?
All of the recipes included in the meal plan are posted on the blog (the only exception is the veggie lo mein – which will be posted soon!). Here’s the actual meal plan page that’s included in the PDF:
I’ve made some changes to some recipes in order to make the meal plan as a whole more cost effective, so some amounts or actual ingredients may be a bit different than the exact recipe listed on the blog.
Here are all five dinners on this meal plan:
- Monday – White Bean Soup
- Tuesday – Veggie Lo Mein (stand alone recipe not featured on site)
- Wednesday – Mexican Stuffed Peppers
- Thursday – Puerto Rican Beans and Rice
- Friday – Personal Pesto Pizzas
Is this Meal Plan Vegan Friendly?
This meal plan can easily be made vegan by using your favorite vegan substitutes for the following ingredients – Basil Pesto, Naan Flatbreads, Shredded Cheese.
How Much Will This Meal Plan Cost?
I priced it out in my area, and the cost for all ingredients – aside from a few pantry staples (which are noted on the shopping list, in case you need to buy any of them) – was $74.
I include a page of tips to save money on the meal plan – one tip alone would save you about $8, so be sure to check it out!
How long will the Meals Take to Cook?
All meals are ready in under an hour – and they range in time from 15 to 50 minutes.
