This Bill Payment Worksheet Printable could possibly be one of the most important printables of the set if you are trying to establish or reestablish a better credit score. Paying bills on time and doing so consistently is incredibly important and this tool will help you get to your goal.
According to myfico.com, payment history is 35% of your total credit score. Let that sink in for a minute. Over ⅓ of our credit score is essentially paying our bills on time.
Lenders want to know if they can trust you to pay on time.
Given that the weight of this one aspect of your credit score is so high, it is so important to pay attention to it.
How to Use the Bill Worksheet Printable
Most of you will only need to print one of these. List out all of your bills on the left hand column and then simply check off that you paid it each month.
I found it helpful to go into my bank account and list all the bills I currently pay. Look everywhere for these.
- Check in your bank account in the BILL PAY section. This is the section you PUSH the money out of your bank account. List all of these on the sheet.
- Check in your bank account for the ACTIVITY section. This is where you can find the bills that are PULLED from your account. These are auto payments that are pulled from checking.
- Check all of your credit cards for any ACTIVITY of auto payments (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, etc).
- Check for the bills that you receive in the mail. You may write a check for those that don’t fit into the above categories.
This should capture all your payments. It may take a few months to capture everything, though. We have a couple of bills that we pay quarterly and didn’t show up when I did this initially.
That seems basic, right? How many times have you accidentally forgotten to pay the power or water bill? Maybe it was the minimum due on an installment loan. Late fees and a hit on your credit would be two problems you don’t want when you can control it.

The Mini Finance Binder includes:
Expense Tracker – You are going to keep track of all of your expenses each month. This one was featured first as it is imperative to get a full understanding of where your money goes and to be honest with yourself about it. Fair warning, that can be hard to see.
Spending Log – This daily spending log helps to see how much money leaves your wallet each day. Time goes by so quickly and it doesn’t FEEL like we spent that much, but this sheet is the visual that is going to SPEAK to you like no other. Take it with you on a Saturday and just start keeping track how much you spend. For most of us, it won’t even take a week to realize that there should be some cutting back going on.
Debt Payoff – This takes a deep dive into your debts and tracks how much you pay off. This is a holistic look at your debt and helps you to keep track of how much you owe. It is a great tool for tackling the highest interest rate ones first.
Add all of these sheets together with the email freebies, Monthly Financial Goals and Yearly Financial Goals. You can sign up for the email list to get these HERE.
