It’s basically dessert for breakfast, just a healthier version. If you’re looking for heartier breakfast meal prep ideas, try these vegetarian meal prep breakfast bowls, these freezer oatmeal cups or these breakfast freezer meals.
I chose strawberries, blueberries, granola and vanilla yogurt for my parfaits. I kept it really simple. But you can customize your breakfast parfaits however you’d like!
If you’re at all intimidated by meal prepping, this parfait is the perfect beginner meal prep for you. It takes five minutes, it’s pretty cheap and there’s really no clean up involved, making it perfect for busy people.
I used these glass meal prep containers since they have a divider so I can keep the dry ingredients separate from the yogurt. When it comes time to eat, just use a spoon to scoop your toppings over the yogurt.
Also a little tip… don’t overfill the yogurt side of your meal prep container! You’ll want to be able to scoop your other ingredients over it and mix them in without tiny pieces of granola flying everywhere because it’s too full to mix.
These make ahead breakfast parfaits last for up to three days, meaning you can serve two people for three days each with the amounts listed below.
There are only four basic ingredients in these meal prep parfaits. You can always add in extra foods, but it’s not required. Let’s take a look:
Vanilla Yogurt: You can use regular vanilla yogurt or opt for a Greek yogurt depending on what you love. Other flavors would also be good too if you want even more variety.
Fruit: Blueberries and strawberries are always a hit with these meal prep parfaits. You can swap it for other fruits if you would like to try them out. You can’t go wrong!
Vanilla Almond Granola: The granola gives the parfait an excellent crunchy element that is unbeatable. It’s so delicious and you are going to love it.
