📅 Why These Work

Large Open Space to Write | There is enough space that you can actually hand write out a lot of information in each block. These cute calendars come in a US Letter size of 8.5″ x 11″ or portrait orientation.

Black and White | These are done purposefully in minimal design of black and white for a couple of reasons. We don’t want it to compete with any other planners you are using. It also saves on the price of using color ink.

Vertical Orientation | These are set up for a vertical calendar so they can easily be used in all of our other binders or as you make your own. Slide this into the Recipe Binder to track your life so you know how busy you are when you are meal planning.

🖊️ What’s Included

Free year calendar for 2023 along with 2022 and 2021 for 12 months of the year, each on its own page in a portrait layout with Sunday start. This PDF file makes it easy for you to add into binders, planners clip on the fridge or hang on the wall. These are ideal when organizing or searching by a specific date in mind.

✔️ How to Use

Here are the different ways we use these free printable calendars in our home.  We each print off and use the full year calendar in different ways for planning our schedule and what needs to get done on a particular day. Add in the At a Glance Calendar with it so you can have a quick glance at the entire year.

Use these for daily calendar or weekly calendars if you choose to use the blank version.

Don’t forget to add in federal holidays for 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Me – I use mine to track my book challenge and my monthly goals. I am a visual person and still like to see things and write them down. For my book challenge, I have 52 books I read per year and this helps me keep track of them. Monthly goals started years ago where I started tracking them on a monthly basis, rather than set up a New Year’s goal.

Breaking it up helped make mini-goals much more attainable and allowed me to focus on smaller, more frequent goals. It turns out I would crush it this way! One of those goals is to increase my bike riding distances. Yes, I can see that in the Map My Ride app, but I love seeing the visual of “look how much farther I’m able to go!”

My Mom – I printed this off and sent it to my mom. She has a couple of calendars that she uses to track her blood pressure and her blood sugars. Not stuff she wants on her appointment calendar – heck, she is so busy that there is barely room to add this in anyways!

Savor and Savvy Business – We use one to track our planned posts and when they should happen! There is a lot of strategy behind the scenes to make sure the readers get what they need, when they need and want it!

Teenage Son – Our son is currently using the printable calendar to track his school projects and applications to college. He still is more of an electronic calendar kid but has seen the benefits of writing down and seeing the deadlines vs “oh, that is weeks away…uh…I guess it isn’t!” It’s great as a school year calendar.

Dad – He uses it to track his expenses for work, CPE credit deadlines, CPA license renewal dates, and upcoming training.

🗓️ Other Printable Calendar Uses

  • Track health concerns-headaches / blood sugar / migraines/
  • Monitor your work out plans/goals
  • Track your goals
  • Meal/Menu planning
  • Move prep
  • School Calendar
  • Church Calendar
  • Homework tracker
  • Travel itinerary
  • Expenses tracker

Not everyone needs a calendar with the 2017 or 2020 dates locked into place so we are also including in a separate PDF, a blank calendar, for you to use as needed.

Download your own by filling out the form below with your email address. It will send the file straight to your inbox within minutes. From there, download to your computer and save the PDF format file. **I suggest always saving the name to something you will remember.**

How Can I Print 2023 Calendar Template?

From there, you should be able to go up to FILE and PRINT. It is up to you if you would like to print all 12 months (the whole year) or start off with printing just a single page at a time.

💻 Sizing Tip

You can resize this calendar when you go to print it. Once you hit “print” hit the paper size to be 5×7 and then towards the bottom click on “scale to fit” and it should come down to 56-58%. If you do it this way, you can size it to fit into a standard planner. This will allow you to separate calendars for different functions

How do you use the printable calendars? Do you prefer the ones with the dates or without? Give us a shout out in the comments for suggestions and thoughts for the next year! We do this for the readers so we would love to know how you are using them and what we should do to adapt to your needs in the future!

I liked your suggestion to grab some markers and color them after printing, but it would be really fun to be able to color them in before printing, if there’s a way that could be done. Your calendars are very pretty!

Oh thank you so much! We didn’t color them in on purpose so they are generic enough for a broader group of people. I’m so glad you like them!!!

Really nice calendars! I would love to see it in landscape format as that fits the space for me better than portrait.

Awesome idea, Barb! I just double checked for you to see if in any of my planners and printable I do a landscape and the only version I came up with is in the Free Weekly Planner but I don’t know if that is what you are looking for. https://savorandsavvy.com/free-weekly-planner-printable/

Either way, I appreciate you bringing it up as I realize now I missed out making a version that way! When I make the new one, I’ll let you know! Ginny
